Helpful Tips for Making Birdie Bread

Tip #1: So you don't have to use baking powder or baking soda, you can whip the eggs until they've at least doubled in size and turned a pale yellow and then gently fold in the rest of your ingredients before baking.

Tip #2: To make your bird a delicious healthy snack, grind up your bird's favorite birdie bread and toss it with their sprouts or veggies.

Tip #3: To help your birdie bread not stick to the pan, spray it with basic cooking spray in a room other than where your birds are or put parchment or wax paper down under it.

Tip #4: For single servings, try baking your birdie bread in a small muffin tin.

Tip #5: For an even baking, spread it evenly before you bake it.

Tip #6: Add chopped peppers or fruits or veggies to your birdie bread before you bake it to make it a little healthier and alot more flavorful! Or you can add flax seeds, millet, or sesame seeds for some added texture, but be sure to grind flax for nutrition reasons.

Tip #7: Most birdie breads are made with plain corn meal. Try substituting popcorn flour for a tasty surprise!
